In handing over his Ahikouka jjropcrty, valued at about £20,000, to tho Wuh-arapa Patriotic Association on behalf of the Wounded Soldiers' Fund, Mr A. P. Whatman expressed a desire that trusteos should bo appointed and tho land hold in trust for wounded soldiers. At the expiry of 60 years or 30 years, if tho trustees felt the object of the trust had been fulfilled, tho land is to bo passed unreservedly to tho Salvation Army.
