A meeting of the directors of the East Coast Freezing Company was hold at Mαtata, J3ay of Plenty, the other day. A communication was received from the contractor and architect stating that plans of the works were in a forward condition: and that there was every probability of tho works being ready in a small way at tho specified time. A letter was received from the Bank of New Zealand stating it was prepared l>o fina.neo tho. company to tho amount of £60,000. About £45,000 worth of shares wero allotted, aad it m zesolved to proceed wi& o, vigorous oaxwass for the balance of the capital.
