THE SUBMARINES
ADRIATIC'S ASSAILANT. AN OFFICER'S STATEMENT. NEW YORK, September 2. . An officer aboard the steamer Adriatic reports that the submarine which sank the Arabic was afterwards captured by the British, and the crew are now prisoners in England. ' This officer asserted that Britain has captured or sunk 50 German submarines already.
