THE LONDON SERIES. Press Association— By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, March 31. The quantity of wool sold for Home consumption was 109,000 bales, for the Continent 12,000, the United States 5000, and held 18,000 bales.

Compared with last sale's closing rates, best greasy merinos were Unchangedj average and faulty declined 7£ per cent., scoureds to Id. All crossbreds met with an increasingly keen demand; fine advanced 5 per cent., medium and coarse 10 per cent., scoured slipes 5 per cent. Lambs' and merinos unchanged, crossbreds advanced . 10 per cent.

The Kra clip realised top 18d, average 17W; Tekapp, top 18d, average 17£ d.
