The yarding was made up principally of medium bullocks and heifers, with a tew pens of extra prime bullocks. As this number proved short, of butchers' requirements, prices advanced from 10s to 15s per head. Prime heavv bullocks brought from £11 15s to £13 ss. Extra prime, to £15 10s; medium, £10 15s to £11 10s ; light and inferior, £9 to £10 ss; prime cows and heifers, £9 15s to £10 15s; extra £11 15s; medium, £8 to £9 10s; light and inferior, £6 to £7 10s. Owing to the freezing buyers having reduced their limits prices showed a decline of Is per head all round. ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. (PM UKITin PBIBA AH9OCIATIOH ) CHRISTCHTJRCH, July 8. At Addington to-day entries of stock were generally smaller than last week, especially in fat sheep and in fat lambs. Fat cattle were a little freer of sale. Fat lambs sold at late rates, and the fat sheep sale was very firm. Pigs sold well.

Store Sheep.—Best two-tooth ewes, 23s 6d; best full-mouth and failing-mouth ewes, 21s 2d; medium full-mouth and failingmouth ewes, 14s to 15s; aged sorts, 13s to 14s; aged ewes (empty), 10s; merino ewes (empty), 5s 9d; eight-tooth ewes, with lambs at foot (all counted), 14s 7d; best hoggets (mixed sexes), 15s 9d to 16s 4d; good hoggets, 15s to 15s 6d; fairly good hoggets, 14s to 14s 6d; medium hoggets, 13s 3d to 13s lid; ewe hoggets, to 18s 2d. Fat Lambs. —Tegs, 19s 6d to 21s 3d; extra heavy, to 23s 4d; average freezing weights, 17s 6d to 19s; light and unfinished, 15s to 17s.

Fat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers, to 35s 6d; prime wethers, 23s 6d to 295; lighter, 20s 6d to 235; merino wethers, 19s; extra prime ewes, to 27s 6d; prime ewes, 21s to 265; medium ewes, 18s to 20s 6d; aged and light, 15s to 17s 6d.
