Rhodes), on being questioned this evening as to a. report that there is a possibility .. of .Auckland .being partially isolated to the epidemic, said: — "There is no present intention to compel everyone travelling south from the Auckland province to be vaccinated, but it maiy be necessary in the future to take more 1 stringent measures than ate at; present being taken." ■' The Minister would say nothing further on the subject beyond remarking that he would again urge all persons in the Auckland province, both Europeans and Maoris, to take steps to be vaccinated. .
