In telegraphing a return ■of 61oz lOdwt tho master of the 909 dredge states that prospects aro fair. The dredging division was quiet, with little business. Electrics were wanted at 2s, and there was a seller of Mystery Flats at 9s, without a buyer. Rise and Shines wore on offer at £1 18s 6d, while .there were buyers of Rising Suns at £2, and of Worksops at £1 18s, without bringing forth a seller of either. In the mining - -division Now Sylvias experienced a further firming, and were sold on 'Change at 3s 6d, whilo business was reported at 3s 4d. Tho market closed,firm with a buyor offering 3s 4Jd and a seller asking 3s 6:1. Business was transacted in Talisman Coir- , solidateds at £2 9s 6d, and there was a further seller at £2 10s, but no buyer. Waihis were firm, and wero reported as changing hands at £3 7s 3d, tho market closing with a seller at 3d more, and no buying offer. Waihi Grand Junctions continue to maintain a rather surprising firmness, and business ivas reported at £1 7s 8d and £1 7s 9d, the stock closing, still hard, n! o a buyor at £1 7s M and a seller at v „ , In tho inV(!st ™«nt 6tock section New Zealand Insurances wero wanted at £4 9s 6d with a seller at £4 10s 6d, whilo £3 14s 3d was offered* for South British without avail. A sale was reported in Union Steams at £2 Is 9d, and at the midday call there was a further buyer at £2 Is 6d but no seller.
