BRISBANE, February 8. (Received Feb. 9, at 0.35 a.m.) Mr Kidston, in a farewell message to the people, says he felt that it was not well for a progressive young State that the same man should remain at the head of affairs too long. Queensland should have a continual succession of young men pushing her ahead. He had been associated witii ,a great and progressive policy, and he left it for younger and more active men to continue that pob'cy.
