PACIFIC SURF-BATHING CLUB.
llio committee of the St. Clair Branch of the Pacifio Surf-bathing Club held a meeting on Monday evening, when there \v;i6 a full attendance. The secretary (Mr_Gurr) having left to take up his quarters hi the North Island, Mr E. L. Kehoe was elected in his stead. Messrs 4.. Dey and R. Dansey were electa! to the committee in place of Messrs Lyall and G-urr (resigned). A list was handed in showing u membership of 82, and each committeeman was asked to procure additional members. It was stated that the ladies' shed had now been in U6e for 10 days, and was much appreciated. It was decided (o voof in a portion of tho shed to provide for contingencies. It was resolved to apply to the General Committee for permission to procure at earliest date a reel for the lifeline. Tho secretary was 'instructed to •write to Messrs James M'Gill and Sons thanking them for supplying wooden gratings for tho "W" £> *" ladies' ehed.
