STORM ON THE EAST COAST

(Per United Pbess Association.) GISBORNE, April 26. The sea, which was the heaviest for some years, is now moderating Eomewhat along tho oast coast. The schooner Crete was lying at anchor in the cove, and when the storm came on both anchors began to drag, the cables i parted, and Captain, Barnes beached the vessel.
