'■ Terribly hot weather has been expertcnoed hero during tho fast two days. At ' : 10.30 a.m. yesterday the thermometer re- ') gistered 132deg in the sun, and at 6 o'clock in tho shade it stood at 90dcg. , Tuesday was nearly as hot, and there is-J every appearance of to-day being as warm. The fruit is coming in with a rush,'ami is fully a fortnjight earlier than usual. ' The grass is golfing dried up, and the '- creeks, are running low.
