An Authentic Opinion. GMVEBTED BVfXPtSIEICE. The Case of Mr. D. W. KAYE, (BY A SPECIAL REPORTER.) People have to bo converted by experience from an obstinacy of opinion that may he honorable enough in its way, and when Buch lessons a3 these are brought to bear upon our intelligence the most obdurate cannot helpbut becouvinced that self interest is lo be best served by unreserved co-operation with the advice given by Mr. David Wigley Kaye, of No. 27, Lcit-h-street, Dunedin, which runs as follows :— " I consider that when a person's health is broken down a better medium for restoring one to a sound condition cauuot be procured than Clements Tonic." " Have you any particular reason for arriving at that conclusion 2" enquired the reporter. " You may dopend that I would not mako an assertion of that character unless I did so on good grounds," replied Mr. Kaye, "as such statements would have the effect of misleading, if the statements were not truetho very people that it- should be every, body's aim and object to assist. Yes; I have a particular reason, which is that for some time I was suffering from a disordered state of my nervous system, and also >indigestion, Those arc ailments which arc common to most people, especially those Whose lives are mostly spent indoor?, so I do not think it necessary to dilate upon the mnptoins to any great oxtont." "I would liko you to tell me some of them," joined in the reporter, "if you can ipare the time to do so." Well, unfortunately, I am rather buoy just now, or I would have been pleased to devote more time to tho lubjcct, but as it is one that, when given proper consideration, should result iu assisting similar sufferers out of their troubles, I will strain a point - and give yott a few minutes. My system was greatly run down after a rather busy period, and I found mysolf in that wretched condition when a man feels that he has no Ijfe or energy in him. It is by no means a nice state to be in, to feel that the loast thing is a troublo, and not to have the slightest inclination to do tho work that one knows has to be done. It makes life a loutiuual drudgery, and when one is suffer ing continual discoinfortß it makes exioteucf itill more wretched. A pronounced depression of spirits accompanied the intensely languid feeding that I was so muca distressed with, fo; I seemed to be unable to take interest in anything that was going on, The drowsiness that hung on to me, soon after meals especially, was very unpleasant, but I also experienced a considerable amount of anguish owing to tho violent headaches I bad. I conld not sleep well, and I got up ivith a bitter taste in the mouth, and feelings of weariness in my limbs as if I had not been resting at all. Indeed, I was fairly played out and my nerves were all tinainged. p I could eat but very little, but that little was quite sufficient to cause i sense of oppression in the chost, and feelings iu the Btumach as if nothing but wind bad collected there. Between the shoulders tnd across the loins I had severe pains at Intervals, but what concerned me more than mything was to find that my strength was iaily diminishing. I had previously had experience with Clements Tonic, and as it had proven beneficial before, I thought it might Miswer my requirements at the time I ipeak of." " So you gave it a trial, I suppose ?" "Most decidedly I did, and I could not nave done better, nor perhaps half so well, ior Clements Tonic quickly put my internal disorders to rights, and hefore long my physical strength was so. greatly improved that I could Bland any amount of work n'itliout feeling any ill effects. On the nerfans system Clements Tonic had a remarkibly good effect, and I was pleasantly surprised to find how well that medicine made aii sleep, while ils invigorating qualities hove away the miserable feelings of lanluidness i'had suffered ftom, bo effectively ihat I felt like a new man. Nothing could .niprove upon Clements Tonic for giving a Healthy appetito, and I feel sure it stands .mequalled as a prompt and effective remedy lor indigestion, as all my pains, including headaches, were expelled, anil booh I could »at anything without the least- fear of suffernig afterwards. I look upon Clements I'ouic us a boon to the public, and you have my permission to publish these facts of my cure in any way you choose."
