(Fioxt Our Own Corkespondext.)

AUCKLAND, Mav 19. With reference to the earthquake at Winnipeg, Mr Stevenson, F.8.A.5., points out that on Saturday a cablegram was received staling that"owing to an Aurora tho lines were interrupted east and west of Winnipeg. Mr Stevenson couplers that this terrestrial Aurora was a conscience of the large storm at that lime raging on the sun, and that it was a warning of the earthquake which followed. He thinks it probable that a further disturbance may occur in the same district on or about .lime 17, but probably of a milder character.
