Lcckie a •well-known middle-weight boxer, wove arrested at Washdyke this inonihV on a charge of assaulting Constable Collins at Pleasant I'oint yesterday. Tho ran. stable was proceeding to iivrcsl Loekie in a hotel bar when the latter struck him on tho face. Two others coming to Leckie's assistance, they severely handled and eventually overpowered the constable and got away. The third man has not yet been arrested.
