AN IMPORTANT ISSUE,
(Pxtt Uxited Press Association.) r'KILIMNG, February 5. An appeal having been lodged in the case of Jin Feihliug IVough'Council v. Pedwood and O'Monra, involving pavicent of rates on convent property, the Podding iWmgh Council last ni«lit decided to ask the secretary of the 'Municipal Association to conduct the council's case in iii» appeal on behalf of the councils of New Zealand, as the whole of the boroughs oi the Dominion are affected.
