The lodge was opened by W.M. Bro. M'Mocking. supported by W.M. No. 21 (Bro. Phair). W.M. No. 29 (Bro Svamor). W.M. No. 34 {Bro. Stewart), W.M. No. 39 (Bro Dickenson), W.M. No. IBro. Afrncw). Tho W.M. received official visits from t.lio memliers of itll lodges working muW the jurisdiction of No. 3 District Grand Lodge, Duivedin. The District Grand Master and ofiiccrj wore c-ffitvally received, together with t.l>e nicmliors of No. 9 Ladies' Lodge, lrcaxlod by the W. Mistress Sister liarlow and officers. Chaplain Rev. Bro Ba.iley gave a suitable address to the brethren. Solos were rendered during .he ceremony by Sister Young and Bro. .1. R. Raton, and'Bro. .1. Robertson, the diet-rid grand secretary, played the accompaniments. The following toasts wore duly honoured at the supper: "King and our Institution," "(irand Ledge of New Zealand," "District (trawl Lodge No. 3," " Sister Lodges," "Ladies' Lodges"" Tlio singing of the National Anthem brought a very successful installation ceremony lo a close.
