In that list, i usual, the names of New Zealand media students stand out with prominence, sever; being medallists, while others have passe with honours through the various sectioi; of the examinations. In ohemistry, sccond-class honours hav fallen to Mr I!. F. Wallace Mackenzie (We lington, N.Z.), who also has obtained first-class certificate in practical chemistry while a certificate in t.ho second class ha been obtained' by Mr S. 11. Arthui Second-class honours in physics have bee obtained by Mr E. F. Wallace and Mr E Watson. In tho junior division of lectures o anatomy, first place is taken by Mr A. Iu tho senior division of medicine 1 notice only ono Now Zealand name—viz., Mr W. Bartholin Somnicrs (Christchurch), who has taken first-class honours. Iti tlif junior division first-class honours have beer awarded Messrs G. L. Cawkwoll and A. G. Hamilton, and scrond-class honours tc Mossrs T. C. Smith and J. Howard Lawry. To l the following Now Zealanders firstclass honours have been awarded in midwifery and gynecology:—Messrs G. L. Cawkwell, A. If. Elmslie, A. G. 1 Hamilton W. Bartholin Sommens, and T. Cyril Smith, sccond-class honours having been gained by Messrs J. Howard Lawry, W. S. Robertson, John M. Scott, and D. F. Borrie. Honours in practical surgery have been gained by Sydney T. Champtaloup. M.8., demonstrator. Mr G. L. Cawkwoll has passed with second-class honours in ,diseases of tho eye (winter term). In tho spring term list the name which comes out first is that of Mise'Hilda M. Nortlicroft, who thus carries off the medal and gains first-class honours, Miss Eva Meredith havin' taken second-class honours in the samo branch of study. Mr W. Bartholin Sommors comes out with first-class honours in the diseases of tropical climates examination. In diseaiscs of the skin, Mr D. F. Borrie,has ,ta!«ui honours in the secondclass, his name appearing fourth' in the list. In diseases of the larynx, ear, and nose, Mr A. G. Hamilton has, passed with first-class honours.
