WORKERS COMPENSATION.

MEDICAL ASSESSORS. (Per United Pntss Association,) WELLINGTON, May 12. A deputation from the Wollin°ton Division of the British Medical' Association waited on the Minister of Labour and, urged on the Government the advisability' of passing legislation to enable medical assessors to have a seat on the Arbitration Court in eases of claims for damages under the Workers' Compensation for Accidents Act. Mr Millar said that it would bo very effective to have medical men as members of tho court in such eases, and he undertook to put the matter before hia colleagues.
