At a meeting of the Harbour Board today fho now Harbour Boards Bill was discussed, and it was dccidcd ta ask the Government to deal with the board in the bill, allowing five members for the town, fivo for the country, and two Government nominees. INVERCARGILL, Au R ust 15. " The Southland Chamber of Commerce resolved to-day that a resolution bo drafted and forwarded to tho Minister of Customs protesting against the chamber being deprived of tho right to clect a member of the Harbour Board.
