THE PERRY BENEFIT CONCERT
Tho committeo deputed to make arrangements in connection with tho benefit concert which is in be tendered to Mr George A. Perry in His Majesty's Theatre on Friday, Juno 17, met last evening. The nucstiou of tho programme was Siscusscd at some length,' and it was with sonio difficulty that places wero found on the programme for all thoßo who offered their services. The programmo which i"! to be given is sure to meet with tho approval of the general public. It is the intention of tho various bands to march from different piirts of the city in the evening and muster in front of tho theatre, whero they will together play a march; and as it is not often that the public hear the massed bands playing, this item should be of special interest. Tjie tickcts for the concert aro going off freely, ami may be had from any of the principal shops in tho city, besides members of tho committee.
