CASUALTIES.
(Pee United Press Association.) WAIIII, June 27. An elderly man named Alexander Frnser, an old-age pensioner, was found dead in bed. IIAIVEKA, .Ttmo 27. James Hicks, a young man, employed by Mr Hill, wine merchant, died somewhat suddenly. A week ago he had somo teeth drawn. Inflammation of the throat, caused by a cold, followed. An abscess which had formed burst during the night, choking the deceased. WELLINGTON, .Tune 27. At the inquest com-rning the death of John Allendcr, who died on Monday from burin caur-ed by falling into a tank of caustic soda. !he jury returned a verdict of accidental death, and recommended iliat something hi> done to prevent a similar occurrence in future.
