DUNEDIN CLUB. The following is the thirtieth annual report to be presented, members!-, of.'-the Diinedin Football Club at' tjje - annual meeting on Tuesday next:—' Your committee,, in presenting the thirtieth annual report of the club, regret that they cannot congratulate' members oh success iu the field. The senior team failed to sccuro a',win, V'hilo the juniors could lay claim to little faiore euccc:h. The Third Fifteen waif the only team to show up at all prominently, proving a capital combination, and th'ejjr play throughout tlip season is worthy of great'praise. 1 Your committee attribute the non-snccess ot the seniors to their youthfulness. -and confidently await better results, which-■ time and experience ■ should give,' A. opscial meeting ol tho' club was called to consider a proposal to form-club looms, but owing to the difficulty, of securing suitable rooms, and the initial exflenscs being too heavy, the proposal was' shelved for' tho presrat, but we hope iti # wlll be brought' forward on come more convenient occasion. "Tho only representative of the club to gain interprovincial honours was Mr St. J. J. Dunne, who by his solid play, .well merited inclusion. Mi A. Cramond gained a place in 2 Otago team, and wo congratulate him on so quickly demonstrating his ability as a fqotballer. Tho hall training/ if -it did not. enable the teams to win matcbe3, otherwise proved successful, and your iommittec trust their successors will: give jt another trial, lie balance sheet submitted to the mombers shows a very satisfactory credit'on the-year's, transactions. Our annual fixture with the Sydenham Club took place in Cjiristchurch at, Easter, but, as before stated, tho season was one! of reverses, and the Dark Blues went down; by 21 points to 5 points. The efforts of -the Sydenham boys to make tlje trip piijoyablo wew greatly appreciated. We'regret to state that the well-known form of our much-esteemed' coach, Mr R.-M. Isaacs, will not be Eeen this "year teaching tho young_id?a how to play, and your committee take this opportunity of testifying their appreciation of his 1 past services. In conclusion, your committee trust the members will continue the same enthusiastic body, and this year place the old-club in a .prouder position.
