WESTLAND RACES. (Per United Press Association.) HOKITIKA, January 5. The Westland "Racing Club's meeting ivas continued to-day. The weather was showery in the early part of the day, and steady rain fell during the last two races. There were two spills,- Speculator coming down in the Telegraph Handicap and Abydos in the final event. - .Rainbow, who rode Speculator, had his knee wrenched; but received no other injury.
