SYDNEY, January 6, (Received Jan. 5, at 9.21 a.m.) Trouble exists in the several Newcastle collieries in connection with the arrangement for increasing the hewing rates which came into force at the beginning of the year. The men at tile Stockton, Wickham, and Dudley pits have left work. From Christehurch it is telegraphed that in the dispute between the Typographical Tlnion and local newspapers and a jobbing firm the Conciliation Board recommend the adoption of the Wellington award for the unexpired time. .1
