Lord Ranfurly was accorded a most hearty and enthusiastic reception to Gisbcrnc. On the arrival of the Tutanekai shortly afier 5 o'clock last evening a crowd of soina tlirinsimds of pi'oplclined the wharf, and Hie Governor was received with respect. Tliis morning the official welcome took place, his Excellency being presented with an address of welcome. Replying. The Governor was then driven into the country, and was entertained at a garden party at Mr Percival' Barkers in the afternoon, ■ and lit <i banquet in Hie Theatre Royal in the evening.
