Mr Jabez Burton reports-'that the-EttricS dredge washed' up for the week lOoz gold.
The Bruce Herald reports:—The Gold Bank tlredge is still getting steady returns since starting dredging operations. It is estimated that the returns have averaged 20oz a week. Not a bad. record for such cheap and easily worked ground.—Nelson and party's dredge is now some distance above the railway bridge; the ground so far is said to be rather patchy, and the returns as yet are reported as not up to( the average of those obtained below tho bridge.
