The Cricket Association hare adopted thi report of the committee appointed to consider the minutes of the recent meeting of the Cricket Council. The report recommended the proposal to amend the folloir-on rale, and disapproved of the abandonment of home-and-home intercolonial matches when an English team visit the colonies and the special representation of players on the council. It was stated that the association could not too strongly resent the proposal of the Melbourne Club to send • team to. England without first asking the permission of the Cricket Council, and the meeting; was nrgnd to support the conncil in preventing such action. . .
