MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Moudav, August 22. (Before Mr E. H. Carew, S.M.) Judgment for the plaintiff, with cost?, was given in each of the following cases:—JMoritzson and Hopkin v. Frederick Barton (Kaikorai), claim £3 3s lOd, goods supplied; N.Z. Co-opera-tive Co. (Limited) v. John Gaffney (Waimate), claim £1 6s 7d, amount due on a promissory note; Ahlfeld Bros, (for whom Mr Sim appeared) v. M. A. North (Greyinouth), claim £10 2s lOd, amount' due on a promissory note (costs £1 10s 6d); William Coghlan v. Richard Manlove, claim £11 on a dishonoured cheque. James Allan (South Dunedin) v. JJaniel Cursey (North-east Valley), claim £2 10s, services of an entire.—Mr Moore appeared for-plaintiff, and Mr Barclay for defendant.—After evidence, plaintiff was non-suited with costa (£1 Is).
