'I*he Auckland Racing Cbjlj wilt givi £18,760 in stakes this season. The added money to the Auckland Guineas and Champagne Stakes has been increased to 500sbvs each,--the entrance and acceptance fees to be ssovs respectively. The Cyclists' Union-of New South Wales are discussing a new constitution providing for the admission of both amateurs and professionals. Many .prominent cyclists" strongly oppose the union's recognition of cash racing.
