PRINCESS THEATRE.

The Constance Hardie Company are actively rehearsing for the benefit, tendered to Miss Hardie'and Little Gladys Hughes on Saturday evening, when ihey will be assisted by local talent. On Saturday afternoon a matinee of "Little Lord Fauntlerpy" will be heW for the benefit of children.

The Alhambra will be re-opened on Saturday evening by Mr Harry Crawford (late ot the Y/orld's Trio, who claims to be the champion high-kicker of the world) and his All Star Movelty Company, which incudes some faces new to Dunedin. PROFESSOR DANTE. Professor Dante, the famous illusionist, wao has just completed a season here, and Is now performing in Invereargill, is announced to give two final and farewell performances in the Princess Theatre on Monday and Tuesdiy next. With the larger stage he ; will be able to perform "The Fate of Madame.Sans Gene,' the most puzzing of all the illusions the'professor has evolved. It is spoken of by.tae American press as one of the finest illusions ever shown on any stage. Mr M. B. Curtis has cancelled Rome of his northern dates specially to show this to the Dunedin public. The performance by the professor of what he. openly, admits to be his best item will be looked forward to by many of his previous patrons interest, and large attendances may-be ariticipated :
