MORE P.O. PILLAR BOXES.

TO TSE EDITOB. Sic,—On going with a friend to post a letter to-day (Sunday) in the pillar box at the top o£ St. Andrew stceet, I was astonished to find the letters all jammed at the opening—in fact, several were quite visible, and I could easily have abstracted a dozen. That such a condition of matters should exist is almost incredible. I presume the box was overflowing, but I leave the postal authorities to account for it. _ jThe- occurronce of the above state of things leads me to suggest the erection of another pillar box, Bay, at the corner of Hanover street and Leith or- Castle, street. I have for some years been convinced that such a convenience is wanted at the east end of Hanover street, as-it would be nearly equidistant from the pillar bozes in Clyde street, Frederick street, and St. Andrew street.—l am, kc, September 5. Leith Stheet.
