THE CIRCUS.

The eircuß was visited by a large number last evening, the spacious tent being crowded in every part, Every act was re:eived with demonstrations of approval, and all present would doubtless admit that the organisation is one of the most complete which has ever visited Dunedin. To-night the first change of programme takes place. Every act will be new, and the feature of the evening will be a Grand Natioual Steeplechase, in which all the members of the company will appear. This race is described as being one of the most realistic reproductions of the Grand National Steeplechase in Melbourne. There will be a matinee this afternoon at 2, and all children will be admitted for sixpence. The season I closes on Tuesday night next, and all who have not seen ;the show should take the earliest opportunity to do so. ,
