An inquest was held on one of the- twin* found exposed on a verandah at Parnell a fortnight ago. A; verdict was returned of " Doatb from natural cause*, accelerated by exposure." The police were unsuccessful in tracing tha mother.

Wellington, February 20. Herbsrt Falbnt, i»gect 34, a compositor in the New Zealand Time! office, died in tha hospital this afternoon from the effectsof injuries to ths head, sustained in a wrestling bout in a hotel on Saturday night. He leaves a widow and family.

Tha ballet had gone right through the head of the deceased. The sad fatality is supposed to have been caused by the gun going off acci> dentally while Howe, was getting throngh A wire fence. He was out shooting at the time.
