Another capital house greeted the new pro, gramme presented on Saturday evening by the popular company now appearing at the Gity Hall for the fourth we»k.. The various ttenis of the programme wera gone through in the most satisfactory manner, and it i< hardly necessary to add that the audience was incessantly moved to roais of laughter throughout the evening. Tl)o Faust's "Risley". exhibition mot with the greatest approbation, rousing the audience toL rounds of applause after every tvlok, whilst, when at the termination of the exhibition. Master Freddy on being thrown in the air fron> Mr Ted Faust's feet turned three complete revolutions before agfin alighting an the ground, the audience fairly gave vent to their feelings in such a burst of applause as is .seldom heard at an entertainment, Mr Martyu Hagan and Miss Lucy Fraser . presented musical burlesque entitled " Reveu/p," which was greatly appreciated, whilst singly Mr Hasan uiuuscd his . listeners with pong, anecdote, and recitation, until ho had finally to beg the audience to desist in recalutig < him on account of the length of the programme. Mias Lucy Fraser ovoked enthusiastic applause by an excellent rendering of the "The Fisherman's Ohild," and she also had to ruspond to three encores. Mr John Gonrlay was fieard in the first part in tho song " All that glitters ib not gold" (encored), and again in the leading r6le of that clover dramatic epiaode "The Dumb Witness,".in which his pantomimic acting was excellent. Although not speaking a word he yet holds his audience so interested that not a whisper, is heard until the final fill of the curtain. Excellent numbers were also contributed by Mr Eugene Faust, the London Bellringers, and the other members of this versatile company, who all met with well-merited applause. The som» programme will be repeated tills evening. On Wednesday evening (Cup Day) the farcical comedy " Liyinsj Models" will form part of the programme, it being now In active preparation.
