Store Sheep.—A fair business is taking place iri these, but prices are very low in comparison with those ruling at this time last year, the present poor prospects of wool and mutton being accountable for the drop. Rabbitskins.-—Very few are at present coming to hand, but consignments should shortly increase as the season advances. Quotations are the same as previously advised—viz.: Spring skins, 5d to 7d; summers, 3ld to 4_d; suckers, half-grown, and inferior* ld to Jid per lb. Sheepskins.—Catalogues this week Were small, and composed chiefly of inferior country skins with a few lots df butchers' green crossbred and lambskins. The attendance of buyers was not quite up to the usual, ond sales dragged somewhat, although prices ruling. for best crossbred pelts showed a slight advance. Hides.---The market for these is quiet, without change. Most country consignments show much want of rare in flayinir and salting. Grass Seeds.—Business in this line has slackened off considerably lately, the chief demand fnr ryegrass being for extra clean, shot'v, h«avy-weighing seed. Quotations : Best dressed perennial, Jls fld to 4s; medium to good, Jls Jid to J.s Gd : undressed, extra clean, small heavy seed. Jls to 3s 3d ; good tn best, 2s (id to 2s fld; inferior, to medium, ls (Id to 2s Jlil (ex store, sacks extra, net).—Cocksfoot : The market, is dull, best dressed bringing 4d to -lld ; medium, 3d to -Id per lb. Grain.—AVheat: There is stilt no alteration in tho tone of this market, although a fail-amount of business is being dor,e at lat*. rates. Supplies are plentiful, but buyers are operating only to meet trade i equipments. Quotations: For prime milling. 2s Sd tn 2s fld ; medium, 2s 7d to 2s Sd ; and fowl wheat,2-5.i to 2. «ld. Oats : Supplies are coming freely to stores, but business is limited. Shippers are not operating to any extent, and the demand existing.is merely for local consumption. ' Potatoes.—Consignments during the week have not been quite so heavy, and sales have in consequence beon more readily mads.
