Deceased was a printer by trade, and a single man, but his sister lived with him on his selection. He had been employed on the Northern Luminary, Kawakawai •■

A boy named Bristow, aged 18, subject to epileptic fits, standing on the platform, fell off. The tram was stopped at the next station, and a trolly sent back for the boy, ■ who had his collarbone broken and his head bodly bruised. Ho had a nrraculous escape fccim being killed. A Cromwell correspondent telegraphs that Dr Morris, of Cromwell, was thrown from his gig on Sunday coming down the Bannockburn Hill, and had his fight arm fractured, his head badly cut, and otherwise bruised. He was attended to by Dr M'Ad&m, and is progressing favourably.
