ALL NATI 0N S' FAI R. In these days, when monuments are erected as silent witnesses of the veneration and devotion of a grateful people to the heroes and illustrious men of the past, Irishmen are not wantin" in giving expression, by this popular means, of love for their great leader. Monuments take many forms, suitable to the statesman, the soldier, and the prelate. No more appropriate monument can be suggested, in relation to this latter, than the erection of a noble church dedicated to the name to be held in veneration. The Catholic people of South Duuedin, with a Christian feeling as well as with a national aspiration for which the Irish are so celebrated have determined to raise such a monument to their National Saint, Patrick, by building a Church winch will be an honour to the ancient • l<aith and a glory to the Patron Saint. Already the church is well advanced, and, with a view of expediting its completion, arrangements are in active preparation for the production of an "ALL NATIONS' FAIR." This demonstration will eclipse all previous efforts by its splendour and magnificent effects, and it will not be too much to expect that it will monopolise the ;niblic patronage during the season. The fair will commence on NOVEMBER 2-S. Full particulars will be given in future advertisements.
I nends in the country desirous of aiding this great work are requested to communicate with .Key. lather Hunt, South Dimedin, by whom all contributions of goods or money will be thank, fully received. 2-Jo Meetings. nVTATIONAL 'FIRE AND MARINE JL^ INSIUIANCK COMPANY OK KKW ZKALA.ND.
