The amount ot customs revenue received to-day on goods cleared for consumption was L70i83 Id. following is a return of the number of" bags of grain and produce received at the Dunodiu railway stations to-day :— Wheat. Oats. Potatoes. Total 225 570 100 SL'S' Tlie New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London qfiice :— " Hemp : Stocks not equal to trade requirements. Medium is worth L2(i per ton." Messrs John M'Nuirn and G0.,..in their fortnightly cable of Home markets to Mr W. L. Taylor, Woodlands, report :—" Active demand for deliver/ of cheese ; no prosptet of lower prices."
