(Receivod October 21, at 11.25 a.m.S This morning Urith and Bungebah did half a mile in 52sec, Donation five furlongs in lmin 7 2 usco. Ulric and Camoola had a sis-furlong spic, the time for which was lmin 21-lsec. Palliser did a mile in lmiu 54seo. Oxide and Chatham had a strong two-mile gallop, the latter moving splendidly. Candour went a similar journey, covering the last five furlongs in lmin llsec. Paris, Escort, Imp, Innaniineka, Covenant, and Jack Robinson did good work. Oamoola is at even money for the Derby, 1000 to 100 was accepted about Attalus, after which 8 to 1 was the best offer. Mcli and The Captain liavo receded to 12 to 1, Calculus 14----to 1. Malvolio has hardened for the Cup, and is nov? at 100 to 12. Camoola has been well backed ab 100 to 10, and -Portsea at 100 to 6, to which price St. Albau3 II has advanced after several 1000's to 50 had been taken. ..(Received October 21, at 10 p.m.) Tirailleur has evidently greatly benefited by the swimming exercise lately apportioned him. He executed the only work of importance at Caulfield thia morning, covering, in company with Sternchaser, two miles at a good sound pace. The betting market is stagnant. Rosalind - and Honour Bright have been scratched for ail engagements at the meeting. Mr C. F. Mark, secretary of the Auckland Trotting Club, notifies that nominations for tha first day's race 3 close on the 25th November, and for the second day on the 16th December.
Acceptances for the Spring meeting of the Tahuna Park .Trotting and Racing Club close on Tuesday evening.
