MEETING OF CREDITORS.
Re T. S. Jefrkev. An adjourned meeting of creditors in the estate of T. S. Jeffrey, building contractor, of NorthEast Valley, which was to have been held at the ofiicialassignee's office on Thursday lapsed, forwant of a quorum, only two creditors being present. The Assignee said the position of matters with regard to the estate was this: The mortgagee of the property called in to see him, and said he would give a trifling amount for it, but Mr Samson was offering some other property and he agreed to offer tbe bankrupt's at the sauie time ; so that anybody who wanted the property would have an opportunity of bidding for it at auction. Mr King observed that that would be very satisfactory to the creditors.
