DISASTROUS WRECK.

Further storms have been raging all over England, and floods are universal. In many places the buildings were unroofed. The Enterkin, bound to Brisbane with a cargo of iron, was wrecked off Ramsgate on Saturday night. An apprentice, who was lashed to the rigging, was the only person rescued, all the rest on board, 30 in number, being drowned. (Received December 10, at 7.30 p.m.) The Enterkin was insured against total loss. December 15. (Received December IS, at 1.10 a.m.) The ship Enterkin struck the Galloper Sands. The lifeboat was stove in and drowned most of the crew. Those left on board, consisting of four hands, wero washed overboard, the apprentice alone regaining the ship, and taking to the rigging. He was live hours in a perilous position before he was rescued by a passing smack. Captain Sinclair, who was to have taken command of the ship, was seized with an attack of influenza prior to her departure, and was succeeded hy Captain Stephenson.
