DUNEDIN HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
A special meatiug of the committee of the above was held in the Y.W.0.4. Ilooraß onTuesday evening. MrKempleuinthechair. Thesupplementaryschednle for the spring show was passed and ordered to be printed, and will be obtainable in the hall ou the day of the chrysanthemum chow. Messrs Lusk and A. Blaak were re-elected, respectively, auditor and secretary for the ensuingyear. Meisrs P. M'Gregor, J. White, Howden, Moodie, and Carter were appointed Btaging committee for the approaching show. The certifying committee reported that they had awarded a lirsl.-class certificate to Mr A. Forsyth's new chrysanthemum '■ Mrs John Mitchell," a sport from " Kmpre b Eugene " and of the incurved variety, a full description of which appeared recently in the columns of the Otago Daily Times.
