Tekapo, Captain Allman, from Melbourne, via Hobart and the Bluff, arrived at Port Chalmers at 7.30 a.m. yesterday, and steamed alongside the Bowen pier. Mr Petherbridge, her purser, reports leaving Melbourne at 5.30 p.m. on the 22nd ult.; arrived at Hi'bart at 1.40 p m. on the 24th, and left again at 8 p.m. name day. Experienced variable winlsuntilthe 26th, thence strong westerly winds and thick weather. Sighted the Snares at 7 a.m. on the 26th, and reached the Bluff at 3.40 p m. same day; tailed again at 4.40 p.m. on the 29th; had moderate weather along the coast, and arrived as above. The s.s. Botomahana, Captain Kennedy, from Sydney, via Hast Coait ports, arrived at Port Chalmers at 8.30 a.m., and steamed alongside the George street pier. She left Sydney at 5 p.m. on the 18th ult., experienced fine weather across and arrived at Auckland on the 23rd ; left again on the 24th, called at Gisborne on the 25th, Napier on the 26th, and reached Wellington on she 27th j left again on the 28th, arrived at Lyttelton on the morning of the 29th, and sailed again at 4 p.m. same day, arriving as above. We look for the early arrival from London of the clipper ship BaDkholme, consigned to the New Zealand Shipping Company. She brings a total of 2359 tons of cargo, composed of 873 tons of dead weight, 1450 tons of measurement, and 36 tons of explosives for this port, inclusive of 196 packages to be tranahipped to Oamaru, Timaru, and luvercargill. The b s. Mahinapua, Captain C. Todd, from West Coa6t ports, arrived at the Victoria wharf st 7.40 a.m. yesterday. She left Westport at 3 p.m. of April 25th, and oßlled at Nelson, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Timarn. left the latter port at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, and reached headquarters as above. She had fine weather with smooth seas throughout the passage. The a s. Kakanul. with a cargo of timber from the South, arrived at the Rattray street wharf at 8 a m. yesterday. She left Waikawa at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, and had fresh S W, winds with fine weather aloDg tho coast. The s b. Waihora steamed down tho harbour yesterday foronoon, and after embarking passengers and mails left Port Chalmers in the afternoon for Sydney, via Knjfc Coast ports. The s a. Omapere, Captain Spinks, left Dunediu yesterday afternoon for Greymouth, via Timaru and Picton.

The s.s. Banks Peninsula left Duaedln wharf at midnight yesterday for Oamaru. The Bchooner Isabella Andenon and the ketch Catlin landed cargoes at Dunedin wharves yesterday. The s.s. Botomahana steamed up from Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon and landed cargo at the Victoria wharf.

The a.s. Tekapo 6teamed up from Port Chalmers yesterday afternoon and landed cargo at the tongue wharf.

The ElHs line steamer Jubilee is expected to arrive at Dunedin at noon to-day. Owing to the strong S.W. wind which prevailed yesterday,the s.s. Kakanui did not sail for Riverton. She leaves this morning for that port.
