United Alpine (Lyell).—lt is understood the cleau-ing-up took place yesterday, but so far the returns have not been made public hero.
TbeWaipori Amalgamated Deep Lead Company washed up on Saturday last for a return of 240z of gold. Tiliß represents a little over a fortnight's work.
A telegram received from tho manager of the Oallant Tipperary Company etali-s that thu amalgam return (ptntes only) for the fortuigbt is lOGuz, from about 80 tons of stone.
