: Drunkenness.—One offender was fined 5s two 10s each, and an old hand, Ann Jane Seals, was fined 20s, or in default three days' imprisonment. . ' . .' .

Indtjsteial School Case.— George C. Eowden, who had applied to the. court to send his son of the same name, and aged 10 years and five months, to the Industrial School as being beyond his control, did not appear.—Mr Carew said that the case had been adjourned for a month, and an order was to be made on the condition that the father gave security for the payment of 2s 6d a week. That not having been done the case would be dismissed.
