The following is a return of the revenue of the General Post Office for the quarter ended June 30:-General Post Office, £9711 12s 9d; Auckland, £5278 9s 9d; Christchurch, £5547 Os* 7d; Dunedin, £5398 lls Id ; Wellington, £4173 19s 9d. Total for the colony, £49,437 16s 7d, against £50,027 18s 8d for the corresponding quarter last year.
The telegraph revenue was:—Paid telegrams: Genial Post Office, £117 2s 3d; Auckland, £4317 3s 2d; Christchurch, £3166 10s lOd; Dunedin, £3658 19s 9d; Wellington, £4732 13s 5d ; total for the colony, £25,588 3s sd. Corresponding quarter 1886, £26,841 5s Bd.
The Government telegrams amounted to :— Auckland,? £119 19s Id; Christehurch, ;£43G 18s Id; Dunedin, £602 8s Id; Welliugton, £2453 Is lOd. Total for colony, £6900 15s 4d. The following is a return of tho number, tonnage, and crews of vessels entered inwards for the June quarter:—Auckland, 54 vessels, 30,702 tons, 1758 crow; Wellington, 24 vessels, 31,933 tons, 1171 crew; Lyfctelton, 14 vessels, 11,609 tons, 290 crew; Ouncdiu, 10 vessels, 6641 tons, 151 crew ;—total for colony, 146 vessels, 111,229 tons, 4550 crew: Corresponding quarter 1886, 182 vessels, 121,544 tons, 4509 crew.
