THE N.S.W. PARLIAMENT,
Sydney, November 20. Petitions praying for a dissolution of Parliament, signed by 22,000 persons, have been presented to the Governor, but his Excellency declined to grant a dissolution at the present time.

Sir Patrick Jennings, addressing his constituents at Dubbo last night, dwelt at some length on the policy of the Government. He announced that land and income tax bills would be again introduced, and bills would be also brought forward for amending the laws relating to land, local government, irrigation, and the civil service. A scheme was being discussed for the thorough retrenchment of the civil service.
