THE WELLINGTON EXHIBITION.

At a meeting of the Lighting Committee of the.Exhibition it was agreed to light a consider able portion of the building with electricity, and the remainder with gas. The following is the amount of space allotted for the Industrial Exhibition:—Auckland, 2000 ft; Thames, 300 ft; Hawke'a Bay, 848 ft; Gisborne, 402 ft; New Plymouth, 225 ft; Wellington, 10,807 ft; Wanganui, 773 ft; Marlbovougb, 180 ft; Nehon, 1282 ft; Hokitika, 40ft; Greymouth, 365 ft; Akaroa, 300 ft; Timaru, 220 ft; Oatnaru, 500 ft; Invercargill, 410 ft; Christchurcb, 8484 f t; Dunedin, 9215 ft. 5500 ft has been allotted to the Art section, 10,000 ft to home industries, and 1800 ft for passages. The total space allotted is 69,404 ft.
