It has a central and open position, facing: Custom, house square; charming views arc obtainable of the harbour. Peninsula, and ocean from tho upper floors, it ia situated in tho contro of the tramway systems, aud at a convenient distance from the railway-station. It is commodious enough to afford all ihoso'comforts and conveniences that aro to do found in the largest modern hotel establishments, such as efficient offlco administration, which will bo arranged on tho American plan; a beautiful vcstibulo, rafsengor elevator, sample-roome, largo private reading and. smoktoß room, a guesto' drawing-room for ladies and gentlemen, avoiding thenecossityof private parlours; suites of rooms with privato baths; privoto bath and toilet accommodation solely for ladies; a ladiesprivate entrance and recoption-ioom; a bairdresslng establishment, laundry, &c. The sanitary appliances, which aro of tho most perfect description, were imported specially for the buildings, and to avoid faulty fitting, and to render the introduction ot sewer gas impossible, tho plumbing has not boon done by contract, but with the greatest tare by Messrs Anderson and Morrison, who worn under instructions to execute all this work on the plans recommonded by the London Sanitary Commissioners. The basement drainage is perfect, and the whole section is concreted and cemented; whilst.there is also an abundance ot light and ventilation in every part. Thus tlio whole building cannot be otherwise than healthy aud agreeable. It will be newly and elegantly furnished throughout.
