No clue has yet been obtained as to the perpetrator of tho robbery. It now transpires that no sovereigns, but only one bar of gold and some notes were stolen. The thsft appears to have been most skilfully effocted.

The Messagerios Maritimes Company's steamship Saghalien, by which the two Irish informers, Kavanagh and Hanlou, are passengers for Europe, Bailed this morning for Marseilles.
The Commercial Bank of Australia have offered a reward of £1000 for the discovery of the robbery of bullion and notes from the bank safe last night.
The Melbourne Presbytery met again to-day to consider the charge of heresy which had been preferred against the Rev. Chaa. Strong. After discussion it was resolved to refer the caS3 to the General Assembly of the Scotch Church.
